Research 

  Mohan S. Selokar, (Research Scholar) and Manoj S. Sankhe (Professor Electronics and Telecommunication Department) published a research paper titled "Implementation of ANN-based closed-loop Multilevel Inverter" in the International Journal of Mechanical Engineering (I.F. 2.1) published by Kalahari Journals. The article focuses on the implementation of a nine-level closed loop inverter. Teaching Excellence

The twelfth session of ‘Research Series’ was conducted by a team from Space Application Centre (SAC), Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on “ISRO's Capacity Building Avenues for Academia and RESPOND / Research Opportunities at SAC & Methodology”. Around 100 participants from MPSTME, Mumbai, MPSTME Shirpur, STME Indore and STME Navi Mumbai attended this webinar. Shri TVS Ram, Deputy Director. Management and Information Systems Area, SAC spoke on initiatives taken by ISRO in various areas of space applications. Dr. Parul Patel, Group Director- Research, Outreach and Training Coordination Group, SAC, gave a brief description of the prime activities of SAC and research opportunities available at SAC.  Dr. Abha Chhabra, Scientist/Engineer RESPOND & Research Coordination Division, SAC, spoke on ISRO's Capacity Building Avenues for Academia and RESPOND. She gave an overview of sponsored research avenues like Space Technology Incubation Centres, RESPOND basket, Space Technology cells and Regional Academic Centres for Space at SAC. Smt. Ankita Patel, Scientific Officer explained the methodology and procedure of research proposal submission. The webinar was quite informative and was well-received by the participants. It is likely to inspire interested participants to submit their project proposals to ISRO.

 Prof. Dattatrey Sawant (Department of Mechatronics Engineering, MPSTME) is appointed as Chair, Membership Development Committee (MDC) of IEEE Bombay Section and also elected as the Secretary for ISA Smart Manufacturing and Industrial Internet of Things   (also known as SMIIoT) Technical Division 2022 -2024 Executive Board, USA.

Student Research 

Fourth-year MBA Tech Mechanical Engineering (MPSTME) students Jayvardhan Vyas , Likhit Sawant , Shubhang Tyagi along with Prof. Samadhan Deshmukh, Late Prof. Girish Joshi and Dr. Asha Ingle (MPSTME, Mumbai) co-authored an article titled, "An Overview on Parametric Study of Photochemical Machining Process and Its Applications" in the International Conference on Computations in Materials and Applied Engineering (CMAE-2021).  Deep Shah (Computer Engineering, MPSTME) and Prof. T. Vijayetha (Computer Engineering Department, MPSTME) published a paper titled “A Comparative study on cloud, fog and edge computing” in 5th International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer Technologies and Optimization Techniques (ICEECCOT) (Scopus).
