All that you need to know about The Great Interview Challenge

The Great Interview Challenge at NMIMS Mumbai begins its hunt for the quintessential person who can overcome all difficulties, sail through the storm, and emerge triumphant. Wear your seatbelts because you're about to go on a rollercoaster trip filled with grueling action, cognitively hard challenges, unparalleled competition, and, last but not least, a once-in-a-lifetime experience as we take you on our search for the best mind.

The Great Interview Challenge is an event where you can unleash your inner jack and show the world that you are a master of all trades. The event would put your analytical skills to the test, followed by the Biznalytics case challenge. The top five teams will proceed to the final round of individual mock interviews with industry professionals. After that, it's time to battle against your own squad, because there's only one Champion in the game. Alas! We discover the Cracker Jack!

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Each team should have 2 to 3 members from the same institute.
  • The competition is open to all MBA students of India.
  • The decision of the organizers will be final and binding.
  • Each student is allowed to register in one team only.
  • The participants can be from any specialization.

Guidelines:

  • The format for the Biznalytics round submission is a 5-slide PDF (excluding Title and Thank You slide).
  • Plagiarism, in any form, will not be tolerated.
  • All the teams are advised to submit their solutions a few hours before the deadline to avoid any last-minute issues.
  • All information related to timelines/case rules will be updated on the Dare2Compete website, Instagram & LinkedIn page.

There will be 3 Rounds- 

Round 1: Quiz-o-mania

  • (Stats + LRDI + Business General Awareness + SQL + Excel +Puzzle) - 20 mins - 20 questions
  • Every participant/team will be ranked on accuracy (score) and speed (time of the last question answered) 
  • This means that if two participants/teams have the same score, then the participant/team that answered their last question earlier will be ranked higher.

Round 2: Biznalytics 

  • The business problem shall be provided wherein the candidate is expected to incorporate to apply knowledge of analytics for a feasible business proposition.
  • The business problem / potential business proposition shall be provided to the group.
  • The group is expected to develop a feasible business proposal by applying their knowledge of analytics.
  • They are expected to present their proposal in standard template format which will be provided to them in advance.
  • They will be evaluated on standard parameters like the originality of thought process, depth of analytics, insights into business, application rigor, etc.
  • All teams are requested to present their case solutions briefly on a 5-slide PPT/PDF (excluding title slide).
  • Further details regarding Biznalytics Round shall be sent to the shortlisted teams from Round-1.

Round 3: G.O.A.T 

  • The top 5 teams selected will be having a mock interview with industry experts.
  • Teams will be split up, and each contender will battle for themselves.
  • The industry experts will take mock interviews of the students giving them exposure to the present industry trends. Will select the winner and first-runner up.   

Rewards:

  • Winner- Rs. 5000 + Certificate
  • First Runner Up- Rs. 3000 + Certificate
  • National Finalist Certificates will be provided to all the candidates competing in the final round.
  • Participation Certificates will be provided to all candidates participating in the event.
