Research

·        Rajni Aron ( Data Science Department) published an article "Resource scheduling of concurrency based applications in IoT based cloud environment" in Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Humanized Computing, Springer Berlin Heidelberg (Science Citation Index Expanded (SciSearch), DBLP, Scopus) Impact factor:7.104. The article presented an IoT-based PaaS architecture and cuckoo search-based resource scheduling algorithm for concurrent applications.  https://doi.org/10.1007/s12652-021-03545-7 

 P   Prathamesh Churi (Department of Computer Engineering), along with the international researchers, co-published a paper titled “Techno-Pedagogical Skills for 21st Century Digital Classrooms” An Extensive Literature Review in Hindawi’s Education Research International (Scopus, ESCI).              Prof. Prathamesh Churi (Department of Computer Engineering, MPSTME) received “Outstanding Reviewer Recognition” from Springer Journal of Computing in Higher Education (Scopus Q1, SSCI IF 2.6) for review service. The Springer Journal of Computing in Higher Education (JCHE) contributes to our understanding of the design, development, and implementation of instructional processes and technologies in higher education.

 Prof. Dattatray Sawant (Mechatronics Department, MPSTME) received Technical consultancy on a research and development project titled: EV HMI/TFT at Critech Power Private Limited, India.

Prof. Dattatray Sawant (Mechatronics Department, MPSTME) has been appointed as a member of the Prayas Monitoring Committee Board at Sardar Patel Technology and Business Incubator (SP-TBI) as a Technology Expert. NIDHI- PRAYAS (NIDHI-PRomoting and Accelerating Young and Aspiring Technology Entrepreneurs) program is a pre-incubation initiative that focuses on helping young innovators develop their ideas into proof-of-concept by providing them with support/funding. The SP-TBI Prayas Center (PC) will be provided with a total fund of INR 5 Crore from the Department of Science and Technology (DST) for 5 program cycles in which it will incubate a cohort of around 10 start ups each cycle.                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Student Achievement:

 MPSTME Mumbai and Shirpur Campus Students - Aman Shrivastava, Rajiv Murli, Raghav Verma, Saransh Goyal, Prakhar Upadhyay, Arndam Gupta, Saket Singh, Muskan Kanungo, Prashant Pandey (Computer and Information Technology Department) selected in Samsung for R&D Engineer Profile with the lucrative package of 14.5 Lakhs.

MPSTME and SPPSPTM Students- Ankiit Khemka (MBATech - IT and Marketing) and Bhavana U Khemka (B. Pharma)  launched Fabbeu, which is India's first skincare brand crafted exclusively for Gen Z. An application aims at simplifying and personalizing teenage skincare by crafting products that are authentic and safe on the skin. A free AI analysis of skin helps to understand skin concerns and recommend products that'd best suit people. An application also has many personalized skincare solutions. FABBEU has been incubated by AIC NMIMS in 2021 & mentored by Dr. Ajitabh Ambastha, Associate Prof., Head – Innovation Centre, MPSTME, NMIMS, Mumbai. FABBEU has been recognized by Start-up India.
